I earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine. I am a member of the Young President’s Organization (Gold), Chi Epsilon (Civil Engineering Honor Society), and an Operating Partner at Gallant Capital Partners. My history of proven leadership and success extends back over 25 years. Past success in leading engineering firms includes:

Ranging from start-up to mature businesses, I created substantial growth as CEO of various companies held by U.S. Laboratories and substantially contributed to the company’s successful IPO and ultimate sale to Bureau Veritas.

As CEO of Twining, Inc., I successfully restructured and diversified a 105-year-old business resulting in a 10x increase in shareholder value in only 6 years, including rapid expansion throughout California.

Leveraged my extensive operating, financial analytics, and technical experience as CEO and majority owner of Quality Built to scale the business to a national presence and successful exit to private equity. Developed new proprietary software and optimized data asset resulting in a 30x increase in shareholder value.

My technical expertise is uniquely deep and broad from complex design to construction oversight to innovation of new techniques to risk mitigation to defect litigation and management of it all. As a licensed Civil and Geotechnical Engineer, I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to be the design engineer on a vast range of projects including high-rises, hospitals, mixed-use facilities, and heavy civil projects.

I have spent the vast majority of my career as the design engineer of record or Principal-in-Charge on complex projects within the residential, commercial, and infrastructure markets. Construction litigation services has always been a part of my companies, which creates credibility, but now it is a priority. Through Spider Solutions, I have the expertise and processes to effectively and efficiently perform all facets of expert consulting services on your cases, including serving as the lead expert to ensure the expert team delivers comprehensive, yet not overlapping expert consulting services.
